Children are meant to learn through play. When children are actively engaged in hands-on, interactive learning activities, their creativity flourishes. Snapology engages children using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. While the kids are having fun with familiar toys, laptops and iPads, we sneak in the educational concepts!  Snapology's mission is to provide children an opportunity to engage in "playful learning" activities that will stimulate their creativity and spark an interest in learning. WINTER VACATION FEB 18, 2025Space Wars Robotics: In this program, your learner will explore the basics of robotics while digging into space related machines! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. May the force be with them as they build and grow!SPRING VACATION APRIL 22, 2025Minecraft Day: If you have a Minecraft® enthusiast at home, this is the  program for them!! Your learner will complete advanced Minecraft® builds using LEGO® bricks and game-play experiences. Work together as a team in Minecraft® to develop creativity and problem-solving skills through active planning, troubleshooting, and spatial building scenarios. You won't believe how much this fun virtual world can teach you! Students will be paired off in groups to for this program.This program need 10 participants to run.

Music Together (R) is a music and movement class for children aged birth to five years old. Music is learned through singing, movement, play, and discovery. Tuition includes a professionally produced song book with access to online music downloads and a CD of the matching song collection. There are three multi-week sessions between September and June: a fall session (10 weeks), a winter session (9 weeks), and a spring session (10 weeks). Join us every Thursday from 3:00pm to 4:15pm, starting May 1 through June 5, 2025 for an hour of engaging, fun, and fast-paced large group games! Program Highlights: Team Building: Participate in activities that foster collaboration and strategic thinking. Physical Activity: Enjoy games that promote exercise and overall health. Exciting Games: Play favorites like "Spy Kids", Battleship", and more! This program needs a minimum of 10 registrants to run.NO PROGRAM MAY 22

We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.SuperStructures: Can you design the next Taj Mahal? Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's new and exciting Architecture class! It's never too early to foster your child's engineering and building skills in this super cool program. AttackBots: In this exciting program, students will build a variety of military-inspired robots that will respond to their programmed commands. While working with a partner to solve the various challenges, your student will be challenged to understand how to effectively utilize a sensor, how different mechanical components can alter the power and speed of their machine, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with games and challenges using the robots their build with their partner. They're going to have a BLAST! Real World Robotics: In Snapology's Real World Robotics class using LEGO® Spike Prime, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play.Students will be paired off in groups to for this program.This program need 10 participants to run.

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM    Sterling Rec Tennis - FREE Tennis Clinic
4-DAY STERLING REC TENNIS CLINIC: Join Matt Pawelski, former college tennis player, for four days of tennis! The clinic will stress the fundamentals of tennis, specifically; forehand, backhand, serve, volley, scoring and tennis etiquette. Players will receive a t-shirt and canister of tennis balls at the end of the session. Please bring sneakers, tennis racket, sunscreen and water bottle. *We are now using text alerts! Matt Pawelski is a former high school and college tennis player and former high school boys varsity coach for 25 years at both St Bernard's and Leominster High School. Matt's clinic's stress the fundamentals of tennis specifically; forehand, backhand, serve, volley, scoring and tennis etiquette. This program has limited spots.
