The most intense and exciting program you have ever seen. The students will learn how to work together, strategize and exercise without even knowing it! There are tons of creative and competitive dodgeball games incorporated into this program – there will never be a dull moment!!! Gatorskin dodgeballs will be used which are proven to be the safest dodgeballs out there! Safety rules and regulations will be enforced before each class.Presented by F.A.S.T. Culinary Arts Class where students will make and sample all items. Skills to be taught include reading/following a recipe, following directions, and kitchen safety skills. All food will be eaten by the students, so it is important to inform the instructors of any allergies prior to class.  Instructors: Ginny Beaudin-Meade & Stacy Padilla. *Please note: there is a $10 late fee for all registrations received less than 1 week prior to the start of the program*

Come learn some realistic special effects makeup with Little Spark Theater! We will learn how to apply bruise makeup to create fresh and healing bruises as well as techniques to create realistic-looking gashes, wounds, and zombie skin.
 
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Gentle Yoga Flow - Gentle Yoga Flow Fall -Evening
A gentle yoga class for all levels. The class will be performed at a slower pace with less intense positions. It will include yogic breath work and relaxation. Participants should bring their own mat and blocks if required.Drop ins welcome $15.00 a classThis program needs 4 or more participants to run.

MEN'S PICK-UP: Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm  $25/season. Pre-register or pay your first night. Checks made payable to Town of Sterling or cash. Must complete registration form if not registering online. Players should wear appropriate clothing, shoes, bring water and basketball. This program is a combination of warm-up games and sports such as soccer, kickball, and t-ball. It will ease children into learning the basics of all these great games as well as teaching them the importance of team work! Each class F.A.S.T. Athletics will have new and exciting  games planned for students. **All registrations received less than 1 week prior to the start of the program will be charged a $10 late fee**

Music Together (R) is a music and movement class for children aged birth to five years old. Music is learned through singing, movement, play, and discovery. Tuition includes a professionally produced song book with access to online music downloads and a CD of the matching song collection. There are three multi-week sessions between September and June: a fall session (10 weeks), a winter session (9 weeks), and a spring session (10 weeks). This is an excellent opportunity for students to give back to their town, learn the value of volunteerism and experience being a part of something bigger than themselves! Children are meant to learn through play. When children are actively engaged in hands-on, interactive learning activities, their creativity flourishes. Snapology engages children using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. While the kids are having fun with familiar toys, laptops and iPads, we sneak in the educational concepts!  Snapology's mission is to provide children an opportunity to engage in "playful learning" activities that will stimulate their creativity and spark an interest in learning. Mega Machines Robotics: In this machinery-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some pretty spectacular vehicles with their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.SuperStructures: Can you design the next Taj Mahal? Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's new and exciting Architecture class! It's never too early to foster your child's engineering and building skills in this super cool program. AttackBots: In this exciting program, students will build a variety of military-inspired robots that will respond to their programmed commands. While working with a partner to solve the various challenges, your student will be challenged to understand how to effectively utilize a sensor, how different mechanical components can alter the power and speed of their machine, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with games and challenges using the robots their build with their partner. They're going to have a BLAST! Real World Robotics: In Snapology's Real World Robotics class using LEGO® Spike Prime, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play.Students will be paired off in groups to for this program.This program need 10 participants to run.

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM    Home Alone Safety - Home Alone Safety class
Take the first steps towards independence! In this course, we will teach children the basics of being safe when home alone for short periods of time. We will talk about how to answer the telephone and door, discuss internet safety, learn about accident prevention and fire safety protection and how to call 911. We will cover simple first aid techniques, such as how to relieve choking, and talk about how to use our time wisely! 
 
12:00 PM - 3:00 PM    Babysitting Safety Training & ASHI CPR/AED - Blast Babysitting Safety Training and ASHI CPR/AED
BLAST! - Babysitter Lessons And Safety Training & AED/CPR. Join us for a Babysitting workshop and get AED/CPR certified, too! BLAST Babysitting & AED/CPR: BLAST Babysitting program is 3hours and we cover the following topics: * House safety * Activities for different ages * Choking prevention and relief * What to consider before you take a job * Communication – with parents, children and your parents * How and when to call for help; how to call 911 and other basic First Aid* Adult and Child CPR* Use of the AED * How to build your babysitting business *....and many other topics!Students receive a BLAST Babysitting Certificate of Completion, a packet of helpful information, a First Aid book and upon successful completion of the course, participants receive two year certification from ASHI in CPR/AED.
