Snapology S.T.EM Programs - KinderBots Children are meant to learn through play. When children are actively engaged in hands-on, interactive learning activities, their creativity flourishes. Snapology engages children using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. While the kids are having fun with familiar toys, laptops and iPads, we sneak in the educational concepts! Snapology's mission is to provide children an opportunity to engage in "playful learning" activities that will stimulate their creativity and spark an interest in learning. Mega Machines Robotics: In this machinery-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some pretty spectacular vehicles with their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges.SuperStructures: Can you design the next Taj Mahal? Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's new and exciting Architecture class! It's never too early to foster your child's engineering and building skills in this super cool program. AttackBots: In this exciting program, students will build a variety of military-inspired robots that will respond to their programmed commands. While working with a partner to solve the various challenges, your student will be challenged to understand how to effectively utilize a sensor, how different mechanical components can alter the power and speed of their machine, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with games and challenges using the robots their build with their partner. They're going to have a BLAST! Real World Robotics: In Snapology's Real World Robotics class using LEGO® Spike Prime, students interested in technology will create robotic models inspired by real life robotic technologies. Students will learn about gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, and programming as they build alarm devices, earthquake detectors, robotic arms, and much more. Your child will have a blast exploring the world of robotic technologies as they build, learn, and play.Additional Programs to come!!!This year we have doubled the offerings.Students will be paired off in groups to for this program. This program needs 8 participants to run.
